Holiday service availability in Western Australia
Silverchain will accept referrals over the festive season as usual, with the public holiday referral processes remaining the same as weekend referrals. Standard weekdays will be business as usual, with some exceptions for our Metropolitan Oxygen Service.

Please note that the cut off periods for oxygen delivery are impacted due to the timing of public holidays and the weekend, and some additional planning may be required.

Hospital at the Home (HATH) medication supply reminder
If the first visit falls on a public holiday 25, 26 December 2025 or 1 January 2026 (or weekend), referrers must prescribe medications to cover this period, as per usual practice for public holidays.
