Getting started

With Silverchain Private Care you can self fund health and aged care services, with or without an existing government funded package. 

You do not need a referral from your GP or health care provider to receive self funded care. With your consent, we will contact them on your behalf to get the information we need to develop a care plan for you.

Privately funded care, gives you the flexibility to:

• Avoid government aged care assessments, income tests and paperwork required to access subsidised care.
• Access a higher level of support or care that government subsidised home care can fund.
• Receive the care you need while you are on the waitlist for government subsidised support.
• Have an alternative to going into residential aged care.
• Access pre and post hospital support, until you regain your independence.
