How your support has helped
Gifts and donations are used to ensure we provide the best possible service to our clients.
The generous support of people and partners has helped us enhance our services and facilities in many ways, including:
- Purchasing medical equipment such as ultrasonic debridement machines for advanced wound care, electric beds and pain pumps used when caring for our clients.
- Rebuilding, renovating and maintaining our metropolitan and country service centres and remote area health centres.
- Providing skills training programs for clinical and home support staff to improve client care.
- Funding our Research Unit to develop better services and more effective service delivery such as our pressure ulcer risk assessment, evaluating methods of wound care and pilot studies resulting in programs to improve independence.
To each of our supporters, thank you for helping us help over 84,000 people across Australia to remain living in their home and community.
