Funded programs

Depending on your personal circumstances, you may be eligible for government-subsidised home care.

There are two types of home care programs that are subsidised by the Australian Government. Both are designed to help you to live independently at home and meet your changing needs as you get older:

Commonwealth Home Support Programme

Formerly known as Home and Community Care (or ‘HACC’) this program provides basic home support services to help you carry out everyday activities.

It is sometimes offered as a short-term bundle of care.

Home Care Packages

Home Care Packages are designed to help those with more complex needs stay in their home as they get older.

These personalised packages of care are assigned as one of four package types – level 1, 2, 3 or 4 – depending on the complexity of your support needs.

A Home Care Package gives you choice, control and flexibility in the way care is provided.

Getting started

To receive government-subsidised home care, you will start by Getting an assessment.

You can also check the Costs & contributions associated with each program.

Private services

We offer all of our home care services on a private, fee-paying basis. There’s no waiting list and no need for an assessment which means you can get the care you need right away.
