Continence & catheter care
Continence & catheter care
If you have problems with bladder or bowel control, or need a urinary catheter, we have trained nurses who can support you.
Our nurses can help you manage this by:
- managing your catheter and appliances
- replacing your catheter
- preventing infection and complications
- working with your general practitioner (GP) to solve any issues with your catheter
- developing a continence management plan.
We can also help you find the information and resources you need to manage your continence, or assist with a referral for specialist advice.
