Using the latest wireless video technology, we can deliver specific nursing services to eligible clients, in your own home, through our innovative virtual hospital.
This service is available to clients in the Adelaide area. The video technology is set up in your home and links directly to our Contact Centre, which is staffed by qualified nurses. Our virtual hospital is open for calls seven days a week, from 6:30am until 9:30pm.
If a you require assistance or are a carer who might need support whilst assisting a client taking their medications, we can help by remotely delivering a range of medication management services, including prompting and observation of medication taking medications such as tablets and insulin.
Our virtual hospital provides you with a cost effective, flexible, less intrusive health care service managed by consistent staff members and offering you greater Independence in the management of your health.
How do I get this service?
To discuss if this service could help you, call our Contact Centre on 1300 364 264 – we’re available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
One of our experienced nurses will then make a time to conduct an assessment with you.
You will be asked to provide specific consent to be part of this program. Your family, carers and GPs are all encouraged to participate in this process to get a better understanding of how the service works.
We will trial the service with you first, to confirm your eligibility and provide training in the safe use of the technology.
If you are eligible, a video phone will be installed in your home using a wireless broadband connection. There is no charge for this.
