Continence & catheter care

If you have problems with bladder or bowel control, or need a urinary catheter, we have trained nurses who can support you.

Our nurses can help you manage this by:

  • managing your catheter and appliances
  • replacing your catheter
  • preventing infection and complications
  • working with your general practitioner (GP) to solve any issues with your catheter
  • developing a continence management plan.

We can also help you find the information and resources you need to manage your continence, or assist with a referral for specialist advice.
