Country and remote health

We're here to help you and your family with a broad range of health care and personal support services.

We work in collaboration with general practitioners (GPs) and other health professionals to provide a range of clinical and community care services, including nursing (GP referral required) and case management.

In all of our work, we respect the dignity, culture, values and beliefs of individuals and local communities.

Our country service centres offer a variety of services, depending on the location. We also operate specialised chronic disease management clinics at some centres.

General services include:

• Nursing
• Wound care
• Allied health – physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry and more
• Aged care (including Home Care Packages)
• Help around your home and garden
• Getting out and about in the community
• Support for family and carers
• Other nursing needs based on clinical requirements

Please note that our centres don't offer a walk-in service and attendance is by appointment only. Not all of the above services are provided at all locations.

When you make an appointment, it will only be at a location where the service can be delivered.
