Palliative care

Palliative care

Our palliative care service in NSW is designed to achieve the best quality of life possible and build community systems to support our clients when they need it most.

We provide dedicated in-home palliative care services for people with a life-limiting illness or condition. Our focus is on increasing your comfort in your own home, surrounded by the people and things you love most.

We work in partnership with the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) to deliver our Community Palliative Care Service – Western Sydney.

What is palliative care?

Palliative care can be provided to people of any age who are facing a life-limiting illness or have complex care needs.

It’s important to know that palliative care recognises the right of the person with the illness to make decisions about their treatment. You can choose who is involved in your care.

How do I get these services?

Generally, people are referred to palliative care services by their general practitioner (GP) or medical specialist. If you feel this service is right for you, speak to your doctor about your options.
