Seniors Week 2016 is a time of celebration for Western Australian seniors. From 6 November to 13 November, hundreds of events and activities are held across the state to recognise and appreciate seniors, and their valuable contribution to our community.
Silver Chain is returning to the popular Seniors Week 'Have a Go Day' event this year. The theme of our stand is staying healthy, safe and connected – which is all about living well at home.
We’ll have hands-on demonstrations and experts available to talk to you about keeping healthy, and we’ll be asking you to share your tips for staying healthy, safe and connected for your chance to win a prize supporting your ongoing health.
If you’re in Perth, come and see the Silver Chain stand at this free, fun event, and talk to us about:
Our health and wellbeing services – including home care, health and personal alarms.
Staying healthy, safe and connected – there’ll be experts providing advice and demonstrations throughout the day.
Volunteering with us to help others.
“Staying healthy, safe and connected is all about living well at home, which is at the heart of Silver Chain’s philosophy,” Silver Chain General Manager, Social Care WA, Anne-Marie Cox explained.
“It shapes the way we design and deliver our services, enabling you to live well at home, for longer. We start by putting you at the centre of everything we do.”
Presented by the Seniors Recreation Council of WA, Have a Go Day is on Wednesday 9 November 2016 at Burswood Park, Great Eastern Highway from 8.30am until 3:30pm.
