Clients in the northern suburbs of Perth will have better access to nursing clinics following the renovation and refurbishment of Silver Chain’s service centre in Kingsley.
With the help of our generous donors, we will refurbish our Kingsley service centre, creating more nursing clinics to meet the needs of the community and delivering a much needed refreshed open plan workplace with improved amenities for staff and clients.
“We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of client care and ensuring we have the best possible facilities for our clients and staff is an important element that helps make this happen,” Silver Chain Health WA, General Manager, Mark Cockayne, said.
“Clinics provide a suitable environment to treat clients with complex needs that may otherwise require a hospital visit. Increasing the number of clinics in the metropolitan north means that we can offer more services, to more clients – expanding our reach and impact within the community,” Mark explained.
“We hear time and time again about the difficulty our clients face in accessing our clinics, so we look forward to being able to increase our offering to better meet the needs of the community.”
For those clients who receive care in their own home the service centre will ensure they receive better access to the services they need, allowing them to remain within familiar comforts and with their family or loved ones when suffering from ongoing or terminal illness.
The refurbishment will also bring our northern metropolitan teams from two different bases together into one location – an improved way of working.
“Our staff across different services will have more opportunities to collaborate than ever before, helping us to deliver more networked care for our clients.”
With your help today, we will be able to build a new look facility to help us expand the reach and impact of our services in the northern suburbs of Perth.
