Our approach centres around the framework of ‘Best care. Every person. Every time.’

Best Care has four components:

Wellness 

We’re passionate about wellness – and we work hand in hand with you to help you live your best life. This means doing things with you, not for you, to help you maintain or regain your independence. We focus on individual strengths and abilities to ensure you are still able to do as much for yourself as possible, and offer support, advice and guidance whenever you need it.

Together, we build your social, emotional and physical wellbeing, offering our help when needed.

Ageing well

Ageing Well refers to the way we think about ageing, including the way we design and provide our services. Although we work with clients of all ages, the average age of our clients is 71. To us, Ageing Well means:

  • helping our clients choose the care and services they need to enjoy independence, and physical, functional and social health
  • working with carers, families and support networks to find flexible solutions
  • adapting to and driving change in the aged care sector to facilitate a better experience and outcomes for our clients and communities
  • designing and providing our services to have a positive impact on our clients, the community and the health care system

We’re working to offer all Australians greater integrated care options. To do this, we work with other organisations and providers, and coordinate care teams, to make sure everyone can live the life they choose.

Technology and innovation 

We approach today’s healthcare challenges with solutions that use the latest technology and innovations, backed by research. Some of our initiatives include:

  • Video phones set up in client homes featuring direct links to our Contact Centre, with qualified nurses available remotely 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • A client management application, ComCare, designed to manage our staff care schedules to deliver the best possible services to clients.

We’re continuing to explore new ways to make an impact using the latest technology both in our clients’ homes and remotely.
