During placement with our organisation, students will be privy to confidential information relating to clients, families, employees, volunteers and Silver Chain activities. It is our policy that no information be divulged in writing, verbally or any other means to any third party without prior consent or permission of the Chief Executive Officer. Any breach of this policy will be considered gross misconduct.
Why do we need your contact and emergency contact details?
Community nursing placements will often involve students meeting preceptors outside of a designated office location. For the safety of students, it is important that we are able to contact the student directly should there be a change of preceptor or if the preceptor is delayed in collecting the student. In the event that a student does not arrive for placement and is not able to be contacted, we require details of the student's emergency contact. Please complete these details in the space provided on the Student Placement Confidentiality Deed.Back
