Social support
The Social Support Service is provided to ensure you are able to maintain contact and interaction with people in your community.
This may include carer or volunteer visits, regular contact phone calls and group activities or outings. The support is provided to you as an individual, but aims to allow you to continue to participate in society.
Some of the ways that Social Support is provided includes:
- Keeping you company
- Helping with paperwork
- Accompanying you and assisting with shopping, banking, paying bills and keeping appointments.
- Not all Silver Chain services are available in all areas.
