RDNS SA announces new General Manager

1 November 2013  Bronwyn Masters commenced in her new role on Monday, 21 October 2013 as General Manager, Health of RDNS SA, one of Australia’s largest in-home health care providers since merging with Silver Chain in Western Australia in 2011.

Having worked in the public health industry for 20 years, Bronwyn brings with her a wealth of experience as well as comprehensive leadership, management and relationship skills.

Bronwyn says she holds a strong belief and passion for public health services and the provision of equitable, accessible and affordable services.

“I am honoured to be working at RDNS.  With a reputable history of almost 120 years, RDNS is a truly iconic organisation in Adelaide providing high value services to people to help meet their needs.  I am truly proud to have the opportunity to contribute to this.

“As the population ages and demands for healthcare services increase, I can see significant opportunities for RDNS to support clients to stay at home longer or to leave hospital earlier.  RDNS is really in an exciting time and I look forward to working with our staff and clients to ensure an even stronger future,” Bronwyn says.

Steve Carmody, Chief Operating Officer, says Bronwyn has worked in several key health organisations in South Australia, as well as her own consulting business working with health organisations across the state.

“Bronwyn’s breadth of experience and knowledge will be of great value to RDNS SA and we are delighted that Bronwyn has joined us.

“Bronwyn will lead RDNS SA in continuing to deliver high-value care to South Australians as well as contribute nationally to leading clinical research, service delivery design and planning and refining clinical protocols and care pathways as part of the Silver Chain Group,” says Steve.

Bronwyn is a graduate of Flinders University and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Masters in Health Services Management.  Prior to this appointment, Bronwyn was the General Manager of Noarlunga Hospital and the Repatriation General Hospital.

RDNS SA is a provider of general and specialist nursing and allied health care, personal care and aged care packages.  RDNS is proud to deliver tailored services across a range of special needs providing health clinics to people who are homeless, supporting people and their families living with a terminal illness through the provision of palliative care, a broad range of disability care planning and training for carers, support to those living with HIV/AIDS and immunisation clinics for adults and children.
