Silver Chain's Eucla Health Centre covers 510kms to the Balladonia Roadhouse and 198kms to the Nullarbor Roadhouse. The Silver Chain service area includes stations and seven roadhouses along the Nullarbor. The closest hospitals are Ceduna (500kms in South Australia) and Norseman (715kms in Western Australia). Through the border patrol 77,200 vehicles (including trucks) which equates to approximately 127,480 people through Eucla checkpoint. The RFDS visits the clinic every two weeks if required.
 
Silver Chain plan and co-ordinate a range of services including emergency services, prevention and health promotion, disease control, maternal / school / child health and development screening.

Silver Chain conducts regular evaluation through survey and feedback from staff and the community to ensure service delivery and the model of care is linked to priorities and needs.

Primary health and chronic disease management are an important part of our service provision across all Silver Chain sites. Nationally, there is a strong focus around primary healthcare, building capacity for the provision of healthcare services in the community and developing strong partnerships with key health care providers.

Silver Chain works in close collaboration with other key stakeholders such as  WA Country Health Service (WACHS), St John Ambulance (SJA), Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), State Emergency Service (SES) and Fire & Emergency Services Authority of Western Australia (FESA) to respond to (accident) and emergency when requested and when available.
