Mirrambeena

Our residential care facility in Margaret River, Mirrambeena, opened in January 2007 as a result of hard work and fundraising initiatives of residents, families, staff, the local Augusta-Margaret River community and Silver Chain.  The facility is part of Silver Chain’s commitment to provide the Margaret River region with a 'home' that meets all care requirements and allows the aged to receive care in a place that the community could own and be part of.

Mirrambeena can provide care to 46 residents with both high and low levels of care, including a specific residential area for those residents with dementia care needs.

Centrally located in the township of Margaret River on the corner of Wallcliffe Road and Farrelly Street, the facility is ideally situated next to the Margaret River District Hospital.

Single rooms, which include an ensuite, and shared accommodation have been incorporated in the design aspects of Mirrambeena, with all rooms air conditioned for extra comfort.  The lounge areas and gardens provide a place for quiet reflection and
social activities.

Meals are cooked fresh on site daily.

Mirrambeena is a fully accredited residential aged care facility with the Commonwealth Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency.
