John Mercer lodge is our high care facility in Hilton, Perth. There are 134 beds, the majority comprising of single rooms, each with their own ensuite.
The new wing of John Mercer Lodge, 'Ann Gibbon House' and 'Muriel Chase House' opened on 9 July 2007. The facility can accommodate 80 high and low care residents. 'Ann Gibbon House' also provides care specifically for people with dementia.
John Mercer Lodge has two dining rooms, two activity areas and a number of small lounges. Hairdressing services are available to residents weekly by appointment. Meals are cooked fresh daily on site, with the menu developed with input from residents. An extensive activity program has been developed and implemented with resounding success.
John Mercer Lodge has qualified nurses on site at all times, as well as other health professionals and qualified carers to meet the needs and optimise care for all our residents. Therapy services include physiotherapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists and reflexologists.
