This study has been developed to facilitate a better understanding of the characteristics of community care clients who have frequent and/or excessively lengthy hospitalisations and to determine whether it is possible to identify these persons in advance.

STAR Project
The Skin Tear Audit Research (STAR) Project is a collaboration between Silver Chain and Curtin University of Technology. It is being conducted to develop a universally acceptable definition and classification of skin tears.
Silver Iodine Trial
This randomised controlled clinical trial is comparing the outcomes for infected/colonised chronic leg ulcers which are treated with cadexomer iodine and a standard dressing, with those treated with a silver impregnated wound dressing.
