The majority of the roles below, except corporate positions, are available at all metro and rural locations.

 

Our Home Support Service staff assist people in need to live in their own homes and within their community; we have a variety of shifts available over seven days.  We employ home helps, care aides, allied health professionals, co-ordinators, managers and case co-ordinators.

 

Caring for Clients in Residential Facilities

Our residential facilities are communities within a community and provide staff with the opportunity to build real relationships and to receive flexible working conditions whilst working within skilled and friendly teams.  We have vacancies for nursing assistants, enrolled nurses, registered nurses and care managers.

General and Clinical Nursing in the Community

Silver Chain nurses are offered a range of career opportunities, from general nursing to specialised procedures.  Enrolled nurses, registered nurses, remote area nurses, clinical nurse specialists/consultants are required in this area.

 

Working in Palliative Care

Silver Chain's Palliative Care Service provide specialised care and support for people facing a life limiting illness.  Staff working in palliative care make a real difference to the lives of clients.  Doctors, registered nurses, care aides and counsellors make up our palliative care teams.

 

Corporate and Support Roles

Silver Chain has an extensive infrastructure to support our direct care services which also provides a range of career opportunities for support and professional staff.  These include but are not limited to:

 

Customer Service Representatives to be the first point of contact for clients and to support operations with all communications.  Human Resource professionals to support operations and Finance and Accounting professionals to support the business plus Property and Procurement.  Research and Marketing to continue the development and growth of Silver Chain and Information Management to develop and manage internal technology and a variety of general administration roles which support all areas of the business. 
 
Volunteering for Silver Chain
